need advice on turbo lude set up
i just need to know if it is possible to run 3.6psi on stock injectors on a 97 prelude i have a vafc controller to adjust the fuel i just need to know if the injectors can handle that small amount of boost, thanks ahead of time for any info given
ps.. i all ready have 550cc injectors but i want to know if i can get by on the stock ones for now i am still building the motor i am actually going to use for my turbo set up

3.6 psi? You serious? I fart more psi than that! What kinda turbo you plan on running for 3.6psi? And you dont even have to build the motor up for that........
in other words, he is saying that is extremely so. usually 6-7psi is the low for a stock h22 that isn't built. i am sure you probably could run 3.6 if you had a wastegate that could support it.

dude don't skimp out on a fuel solution like that
VAFC isn't good for boost it's been explained a million times but basically your fuel and timing maps are "corrected" inversely and dependently with that device <-- VERY bad for a boosted motor.
any turbo worth mention won't hold 3.6PSI your going to have boost creep on the H22a trying to run that low of boost.
if you do use an FMU the stock injectors MIGHT be able to handle that low of boost bu against he boost creep is going to set in and your fuel pressure is going to be through the roof.
just wait till you can get a standalone like Hondata get those 550s in there and drive around knowing you don't have a band aid holding your fuel system together.
the lowest spring I believe Tial has is a 3.5psi spring its the small yellow one.
But to answer your question NO the stock fuel set up on of ours should not be handling ANY boost, I'm sure it will hold up for a while but your destroying your engine from the inside at that point.

dude there have been many people running boost on completely stock h22's without problems. tuning is your insurance to your motors life. get a good tuner that know what he is doing. some even push it past 6-8psi. but if you do, your playing with the life of your engine.

yeah but those people arent trying to run the stock fuel system on the stock engine.
if you just throw a turbo on an H22 and drive down the street there is a good chance its not going to make it back down the street lol
