Default test pipe question...

would it be bad to run a test pipe on my stock d16 until my swap which will be about 3 months away?

im trying to put my exhaust on and the cat is shot and there is a whole in the front of its pipe...and i dont wanna buy a new one.

so will it still benefit the car? or will it hurt it?

it will hurt if your car is stock... power wise...

but if you have a high revving built motor your good to go...

I run a test pipe without a cat all year except when I need to get the car inspected

the only thing I really see is that it throws a CEL because I never connected the downstrewm o2 sensor into it. I don't think it makes a substantial loss of power IMO

well on my DX motor, i just traced to the wires to the clip and unclipped it. Pretty simple. As for the EX, I don't know.
