Test Pipe Question
I got one of those eBay exhaust to replace my broken and rotted stock one on my 98 d motor. I only has a test pipe and no catyl converter, if you run no cat on an obdII motor would it have any harmfull effects on the motor, like screwing up the air/fuel ratio?(rich or lean) Thanks

Re: Test Pipe Question
no it shouldn't really. the cat is only for emissions.
as long as you still have the first o2 you should be ok. the first one is the one that checks out how well the the engine is performing, the a/f ratio and so forth.
the secondary o2 is just for making sure the cat works that is all. but it might throw codes anyways.

Re: Test Pipe Question
Yea there is a spot for both sensors, one on the header and the others on the lower end of the header/downpipe. It seems I should be ok with this setup.
