Got myself 91 accord ex, not a bad car execpt that the auto trans was not my first choice. On the highway the TCC is driving me nuts, it seems to be working oppisite from the way it should. It locks up at the base of the hill and unlocks at the crest, and when I accelerate it locks up and unlocks after relasing the pedal.
I adjusted the kickdown cable with no effect on the tcc but this did soften the harsh 1-2 shift. Trans seems to work properly otherwise.
I did search the forums and did get some help, but not exactly what I'm looking for.
I have checked and there are no codes stored, and the trans fluid is clean. I've got the service manual and this weekand I will check the lock-up solenoids operation and the screens for dirt. According to the manual it could be a valve stuck internally, has anyone used a trans treatment and had any success from it.
If anyone has expirenced issues similar to this or can help out with some advise, as to what else I could check, it woud be appreciated.

Should I just give up and get a new tranny?

I've been reading up on the tcc, it has a 3 stage lock-up partial, half and full. Since I'm not getting full lock up I'll need to take another look at the throttle sensing adjustment.
