When I am driving and lets say Ill get all over it Ill go perfectly to 8k through 1st and 2nd then when I shift into 3rd right at 7000 rpms the fuel like cuts off almost like it hits a rev limiter... Then the CEL comes on... and I have to turn off the car to reset it (obviously) the only code Im throwing is a 10... IAT any one know what that problem is at 7k in 3rd? thanks for the input if any.

 

In the B16 I'd assume right?

Whats code 10...IAT? Try replacing or cleaning that and see what happens. Are you sure you arent throwing any other codes?

 

Yeah positive when I check the codes it only does one long flash then doesn't come back at all.

if its a code 10, air intake temp....then it will flash one long flash..then quit and then if your car does not have any other codes, it will repeat..1 long flash and just keep repeating itself until you remove teh jumper wire your using to check your codes. But code 10 is air Intake temp...i dont know why it would cut out, i used to run without a air intake temp..and never ran into this problem. Does it only do it in third? Ever chaged the fuel filter, or fuel pump...cause code 10 will not cut off your fuel

 

yeah I replaced the fuel filter not to long ago the fuel pump is stock... My setup is this:

JDM B16, CP 12:1 Comp pistons on Eagle H-Beams, Stock head / cams, Bo-Bo intake, MSD Blaster Coil SS, MSD Plug Wires, 2 1/4 inch Mandrel Bent Cat back, Chipped Phearable P28..
