oil return too angled coming off of center cartridge?
Hello-
How does my oil return look? I plan on wrapping the DP also
IF I had to I could purchase some more -10 line to make it a little longer, but if this will do I wont worry

that might actually work ok... however its hard to tell exactly from the pics.... is there anyway for you to route the line behind the exhaust as opposed to in the front? What about taking off the angled fitting on the pan and using a straight AN fitting there. It might give you a little more angle...
naw there is no room to route it behind the downpipe... the conflict comes when the line gets close to the pan; there is barely an inch of clearance.
I was thinking of getting a longer line to bring the 45 off the center a little more forward... but that fitting is a swivel, so it could just swivel back if it didnt how I placed it.
If it would make things easier I could try and quantify the angle at which it leaves the center

I would put a 90 on the turbo side of the line , it will raise it up more and give more slope , I used to have my return touching my d/p and it hade fire sleeve on it and it was ok , but i would just make sure there is no direct contact .
do it with aluminum hard line, just bend a slope into it. Using the hard line will give you control of the bend and let you keep it off your exhaust (go forward and spiral it around, as well as going constantly downward.

I was reluctant to suggest I should use a 90* simply because I Was reading it wouldnt allow the oil to drain as fast as a 45* would.
Also - the pictures do not show it well, but the line isnt touching the downpipe
Thanks for the advice! Imay have a spare length of -10 in the garage, if its a longer piece than the one thats on there now, Ima try and see if it would help
