well i have a built z6 motor and currently have my return line at the top middle of the pan. since my downpipe was in the way, i had to get quite a long line and have to go around the downpipe. well is a long return line bad? i am planning to relocated it like 3-3.5 inches away from the corner of the rearmain oil seal but up top, would that be ok? or where should be the best place to put it?

are there any kinks? make sure there are no points on the line higher than the oil return bung on your oil pan.
