so my cars is throwing cel 4 and 17, i know what 17 is cause my vss is unpluged,but i have no idea what 4 is, anyone know ? i guessing its the map sensor since 3 and 5 is map sensor = D iono makes sense.

i look in teg tips and 4 is non-existent btw.and searched here and g2ic w/ no luck.

failed VSS circuit. 90% chance the fault is in the speed sensor's contacts

 

oh on the cel 17 , the failed vss. its because i just got my clutch replaced and when my friend was refilling the transmission fluid , he chose to refill it from the vss hole on top of the tranny , not the side plug, so he had to take the vss out, he didn't put it back in correct or snug enough i guess . or are you saying that cel 4 and 17 have some relation to each other....

but forget about that anyone know what cel 4 is .

my car is also throwing number 17 (VSS) but its an 1990 accord. it says on this link that number 4 and 17 are the same. http://techauto.te.funpic.org/vss.php but i dont know if its the same for an integra. hope it helps

 

CEL 4 is crank position sensor. I'm not sure where this sensor is in obd0, in obd1 cars it's in the dizzy, and obd2 it's in the engine but i don't know about obd0 so try seraching for it. Just thought I clear up what cel that is.
