Map Sensor CEL!!!!

About 7 seconds after I start my hatch the CEL comes on for my MAP Sensor. Also my RPM's spike up 1k. My MAP sensor is pretty much new and everything is connected right.

Im lost?

Any Suggestions...

Use a multimeter to check continuity and voltage of wires between the sensor and the ECU.
