I need to know how to do my timing on a B7 distributor on Y8 Motor. I need a step by step on doing the Distributor Timing and not the cam timing. All help is appreciated .

 

What do you mean? With a timing light or the firing order? If you have a timing light just break the bolts loose and rotate the dist til you get it to where you want it.

Firing order, is:

1342

12

The flat top is 34 then 12 under. So itll be tilted.

 

I meant to do the timing So i need a timing light? Also thanks for the firing order needed that too. Then what do i do after i aquire a timing light
