B16A2 Ignition Timing?????
Without a timing light, is it possible to zero-out my timing? My cousin told me that by centering the top bolt of my distributor it will put it at zero. Is that true? If anyone is aware of this please let me know!
Thank's!

Re: B16A2 Ignition Timing????? (turbo Si)
Actually when you have a standalone, your able to control timing through the ecu rather than the distributor right? So after installing a stand alone, I should just leave the distributor the way it is and control timing through the laptop. Or is it best to zero it in with the distributor before I try adjusting it through the laptop? When we finally got the car started, it asked us to zero-in the timing although we did not have a timing light. So my cousin adjusted the top bolt of the distributor dead center with the hole it goes through thinking that it will be at zero. Does that make since to anyone?
