Ok when adjusting the timing on your distributor...

Default Ok when adjusting the timing on your distributor...

I accelerated the timing all it can because the motor sounded right, when the timing is too retarded the motor blogs when it is too accelerated it ??? How it you know where to time it?

put your damn dizzy back in the middle. what are you trying to accomplish?
pre-ignition???

at the most advance it 1 or 2 degrees. and you can check the timing with a light down at the crank pully.

it's best left at the stock setting. you need a timing light to correctly do it.
