what could my problem by **video clip**
So for the last 6 months I've totally neglected my car, like an idiot, and as I was driving home last night it started making a sound at first i thought that i had run over a box and it was draging from my undercarriage, but then it turned into a rumbeling sound, and when i got home it was like it is in the video. So I checked my oil and guess what there was next to none in there.
It sounds like something is in the head being churned and grinded around : (
any clue as to what it might be?

video didn't work for me, however, it sounds like a bearing of some sort.
no oil is bad, but how did u check the oil level? because you can be down 2 qts and real low on the dipstick, and there'll still be enough to prevent you ******* up your engine. but if you drained it and there wasn't much left...did an oil light come on?

Low oil probably resulted in a spun bearing (crank or rod bearing).
I would start looking for a replacement engine, or a rebuild.
I better check my oil too. I have been meaning to, but haven't.
Good luck.

I didnt notice a loss in power, and havn't drained the oil yet, been @ work all day. I took off the valve cover and everything looks in place. I was driving normally when it hapened maybe hit 4k rpm tops on the way home. Also I forgot to add that when I got home it kind of smelled like burnt oil.
thanks for all the suggestions so far

That sounds like something under the timing cover. When my auto tensioner started going bad, it kinda sounded like that. I would not run it again until checking it.

im pretty sure you spun a bearing which isnt that uncommon for a h22. good luck, maybe you should drop your oil pan and see if you can see anything.
If it was a crank or rod bearing would my head still be ok? or would i need an entire replacement engine not just the shortblock?
nope, you will be able to get a shortblock. IF it is your head for a really od reason, let me know, i have a spare h22a with a bent rod. the head is super super clean, pics upon request. but sounds to me like rod bearing. good luck.
