Yesterday i just finished my crx project. Its a fully built b16, gt3257, crane ignition, w/ s200b. I cranked her over for the first time to check for spark and leaks. The good thing was NO leaks, the bad thing was NO spark. I checked the crane ignition wiring and everything checked out OK. The light on the crane amplifier was on, but when i unplugged the wire from the ignitor to the cap, stuck a spark plug in it and cranked her over, their still was NO spark. So I'm thinking it might have to do with the distributor, tommorow ill check it with a scope. But right now i'm up for any ideas........ thanks

 

lol at the title...but anyway, try checking your ignitor.

not to point out the obvious or anything, but you did have the spark plug grounded against something when you tested it, right?

 

yeah i made sure of that
