Default VTEC WIRING

hey whats up..after doing my mini me swap on my EG my friend wired my V-tec for me and when i took it out for a road test the frist time i gas'd it no problem vtec hit but when i really really punched it right after frist gear my CEL went on and its show 21 witch is the VTEC spool solenoid valve correct? so after that my friend tested the solenoid and he said it was fine so do u guys might think this could be i just aa wire touching somewhere or w/e ..and the only reason y i really dont kno what it is because after the CEL comes on V-tec is still poping

Check to see if the wire is loose on the solinoid or if the wire to the ecu is loose.

It may look tight, but try and tug on it a bit if its tight then you will know it's tight.

and as soon as it comes on vtec isnt going to engage anymore until you cut it off again.

hows your oli pressure? solenoid goes to a4 and pressure switch goes to oil pressure goes to d6

a vtec code is a soft code, when you cut the car off it resets the soft codes, until the scenerio happens again and the code is set.

once the code is set you wont engage vtec until you cut the car off and it resets the soft codes.

my car also dose this i have a type-r in my 94 hatch and everytime i give it at about 7000 rmp vtec stops and wont work till i turn the car off. has anyone else ever had this problem and if so what might be some things i can try to do to fix this.

yes, fix the problem and the code wont show up.

wiring loose, incorrect, trash in solenoid, low oil pressure, faulty solenoid.
