Default Hondata S200 Question

Ok so I'm ready to start up my boys car and get this beast on the dyno... Its a built turbo b16a in a CR-X converted to OBD-1 and a Hondata S200 Engine Man. to control all the madness...
I have come to a dead stop halt now beacause I hear you you need something else in conjuntion with the software and ECU and Hondate box to tune the car...
Its called a Romulator... I was wondering is this absolutely mandatory to tune this car and can i go along with out this or do I need this box...If i do need this box where can I buy one ASAP and when can I get it...
Thanks room...

Just get the Ostrich from http://www.moates.net

It is a realtime Emulator, you tune the car with it, then burn the chip when you are done ..

It is not necessary, but it lets you update realtime. Otherwise, you will have to burn a chip every time you want to make changes.

Xtronics makes one or as Joe suggested, the Ostrich one is nice. You can get one from Xenocron or Moates.net
