Default quick hondata question

my car is already tuned on hondata s200. my question is do i still need the hondata box anymore? im wondering if u disconnect it from the ecu if it will still run...based on the chip thats in there. i'm asking because i may be selling it and then if i ever need to get it tuned again, then ill get it tuned on crome...which only requires a socketed ecu.

You need to have the box connected to drive the car.The program needs to see it to operate. It will only rev to 3500 and run like crap with the box disconnected.
