Default Who around NC can do a swap on my 93 civic coupe?

Who around NC can do a swap on my 93 civic coupe? How much would it be? Looking for someone around NC. It has a d15b7 with manual tranny right now that is just WEAK SAUCE! Now I know the price would vary on the swap but give me an idea of labor, and I will tally the cost of the engine, unless someone has one available. Thanks

Call 1-800-962-8922 for Import Auto Salvage and ask for Larry Jr. or Randy.

IMO they are the best swap seller in the country, and they could probably actually perfoorm the swap too. I know they're fully capable of the swap, but I'm just not sure if they provide that service to the public or not.

I've driven up to their location in Marion, N.C numerous times to buy swaps/parts and they run an awesome facility and they are great people with great customer service.

Tell them Tom from GA sent you.

Wow stating an opinion as a fact - that's pretty bold.

I'm nowhere near made of money, yet for some reason I've easily had over 10 transactions with them since about 1999 and I've never had a complaint.

Every swap was more complete than any other swap source, they all ran perfect, etc. Any interior parts were always clean as hell, anything shipped was always on time, etc.

One time when an Integra disc conversion was shipped out with a few wrong parts (ABS m/c instead of non-ABS) the problem was corrected immediately and did not cost me any extra to ship the wrong stuff back.

Did you personally have a bad experience with them? One of your close friends? IM me with what happened, because I'm honestly shocked that anyone would have such a strong statement against IAS.

My only complaint about them, and this is minor, is that Larry Jr. and/or Randy can be hard to get on the phone because they are so busy.

If I needed the money/headache I'd do it, but I'm just not. Sorry.

In Raleigh there are a few go fast shops, but none that I'd really recommend.

My money is on P1 auto in Charlotte.

Don't go to Jacksonville, that's for sure. They'll rape you here.

Danny at Phantasm is pretty good, I'd let him work on my car if I didn't do most everything myself. That said, a B-series swap into an EG is pretty easy, have you thought about DIY?

yes IAS is the best place to go to buy your swap i live like 35-45 mins from them dealt with them many of times. And they have never done me wrong. And i like to consider my self dirt poor. So if your have the money for your purchess youll get treated like everyone else

By the way...I have known Larry Jr. & Sr. for quite some time now and they are one of the best guys in the business to deal with. Just because you walk into their shop acting like your **** don't stink and they disregard you...doesn't mean you have to bash them in here.

In hope mills there is a place called godspeed. Let me look for the number. They will do the swap for around $700 I think it was. Personally im a DIY guy so I would say just do the swap yourself. Here is there website... http://godspeedautosalon.com/ I have delt with them and they are good guys.

I have experience in swaps but in Supras. I have helped a friend take an H22 out of my Girlfriend's Prelude and put it back in. I wouldn't mind doing it myself but I am not sure of everything I need exactly. It would be cool if I worked with someone who knows exactly what they are doing. Any prices on these people you guys are reccomending? Say estimate for B16 swap and H22 swap? labor and parts?

Didn't know you were offering swap services Chad - I know you're VERY capable, but I didn't know you were doing them so often for "customers."

I'd recommend Chad too. Great guy, trustworthy, knowledgable, etc.

I'd still buy the swap from IAS though, unless Chad has a hook-up.

One of the users here who is a pretty good buddy of mine got a complete JDM ITR clip from Japan Direct. They seemed fairly cool and had a huge shop.
