Default vtec controllers???

ok first of all, is there a fields vtec controller for pre obd cars? and if so how does it compare the the v-afc from apex-i? also, i am using an rpm activated switch for vtec right now, so i am not getting the vtec fuel and ignition maps. i would assume that a vtec controller makes the ecu send the vtec signal rather than just sending its own signal to the solenoid?

Well to start off the APEXi VTEC and Fuel controllers rock some serious but not to mention they look cool.

Just make sure you buy the one for VTEC.

The VTEC controller send the signal for VTEC to engage as well as controll air/fuel ratios and display it on a graph and lots of other cool stuff........

Buy one for 400 US it is good money spent. Check ebay.com cause ive seen them for 290 US

Mugen EF7's review of Vtec Controllers...

Spoon 3E V-C = without a GENUINE spoon vtec controller will not perform PROPERLY otherwise very good.

Fields Boxer VTEC Controller =

APEXi V-AFC = only if you know what your doing with it

FEELS VC =

of all which one would i rather have? APEXi V-AFC

I need to know this as well. Is there a difference to the maps or can vtec just be activated independently?????

V-TEC controllers

V-TEC is set to kick in when it should. if you were to adjust it, many 200rpm's to make up while shifting, so you can stay in V-TEC and not drop out while racing.

just my $.02
