Just picked up an LS
I have an 88 hatchback and I want a complete list of everything I need to make this LS motor work properly in my car. I'm sure I can search but I figure it easier for you intellectual people to post here or maybe a link with sites where I could get the info but I'd prefer the first option. I only have the motor, I would need an ECU, Tranny, axles, and shift linkage. What ones do I go with and name off anything else I didn't list please. Thanks.

OK you will need:
Mount kit...hasport, hcp, place racing etc
Shift linkage...same as above or cut and weld your stock one
PR4 ecu
B series cable transmission
90-93 integra intermediate shaft and axles
90-93 rear motor mount bracket
depending on the year of the LS you may need a drivers side motor mount bracket
I would change the timing belt, thermostat, water pump, cap and rotor, plugs and wires, and all the hoses and belts just to be safe.
Depending on what model civic you have, you may have to do some wiring. If you post the model of your civic and the motor year I could probably be more specific.

Re: Just picked up an LS (revhardracing)
My hatch is bottom of the line. It lists as just a 3dr that's it. I dunno if that helps or not. As for the LS. I'm not sure, I'm gonna pick it up in the mornin' and clean it up and post pics. I got it for a hella good deal, it has harness already.

Re: Just picked up an LS (Jeff 360)
I just finished my LS swap a couple of weeks ago on a 88 DX hatch...here's more info....injector resistor box, clutch cable, speedo cable, intermediate shaft, axles, non obd distributor, alternator, injector plugs(all said above for 90-91 integra). Go to Hasport.com and print the swap list. It really helped me a lot. Mugen chipped ECU I purchased on EBAY for $200...9200 rev limit (a little too much) but worth it I think. My car was running so bad in the last few days, but just got it tuned today...apparently the vaccuum hoses weren't plugged correctly and what a difference. All my trouble's paying off...can't wait for the secret weapon GSR Head in the works. Good luck on your swap...
