Default Amber Cluster?

I know there are MANY write ups about DIY and what not. The only thing I COULDNT find was which bulbs should be painted or replaced? all of them? maybe someone could post a picture of the back side of a cluster pointing to the ones that have to be taken out.. this is for a 92 eh3

Thanks Alot

when you take out your cluster, you will be able to tell which ones need to be removed to be painted.

lol I made that mistake at first. I thought you had to switch every single one. My turn signals were brown, e-brake light was faded red, etc. Nasty

All the brown socketed ones. Remove the condoms first before painting.

you know everyone here talks about painting the bulbs or getting amber color bulbs. The little covers on the bulbs are avil in almost any color ( don't know about amber/ orange)and they will not fade or bake off. I will get the info up on were you can buy these things soon.

i painted mine, and didnt like it. came out more red then it did amber. so i just replaced all the bulbs with new ones and without the little bulb condoms. its inbetween amber and white... closer to white, and i like it MUCH better. just a FYI.

I did it a couple of days ago. It came out red in color, so I redid it with the bulbs that allready come amber. My only problem is that I can't find and #74 bulbs that are amber. I'm gonna get some orange stain glass paint and see if it matches.

I'd love to get the SiR cluster but there is many other things I'd like to spend 300$ on for the car.

get glass, it looks 100x better, more even light, no hotspots.

Clusters take #24's and a #194 ... climate controls take #74.
