THe dent may be able to be pulled if the paint has not broken. And the correct way to fix the rust is to weld in a new fender or fiberglass a new fender. Have a body shop do it

For paint your normal estimate is 250$ is panel. So that's 500$ right there. I dont know how much the labor would be.

I had a nice size dent pulled and one whole side of my RX-7 painted 6 months ago. It was 3,000$

Are you kidding me,i could get a big magnet and just pop that dent back out,i think theres a tool that can fix one of them, its like a pan lid and it just creates sucktion and pulls it back out but idk what its called.I could put bondo on the rust too mad cheap

You can bondo it all you want. It will still come back. Do it once and do it right or dont do it at all.

it seems like you already have your own answer, why bother asking then?

Sand the rust with 120 grit sand paper or there is a Nortons sand paper made for rust on metal. Works good i took the rust off my car. As far as bondo goes i tried it but didnt put alot of effort into it. Has to be smooth smooth. You can try to put the dent out or use the magnet tool as you said and if u cant get it perfect u could bondo, touch up paint and polish. Just an idea.. Good luck.

actually the bondo has to be straight and smooth not "smooth smooth". even if you sand the bondo with a finer grit and its smooth it might still have waves or even show the dent still. the bondo needs to be sanded straight and smooth with the body of the car or bumper or what ever. it might take 2 or 3 spreads of bondo depending on how efficient you are. also get guide coat and put it on the bondo before you sand it. it will help you see where there are high and low spots in the problem area.

The easy fix is taking your oil cap off and driving a new car underneath and re-installing the oil cap. Plain and simple.

get the dent professionally pulled and do no use bondo on the rust before you cut it out. if you bondo the rust it will just bleed out over time. you must toally cut out the rust and weld in a new piece of metal and then use bondo to make it perfect
