Default Boost Creep Killed LsVTEC T

I just finished my car and the motor only had about 1500 miles on it without turbo the turbo was finished and on the test drive after the rechip blew the vacuum line off the wastegate to the turbo feeding the motor 28 pounds of unrighteous boost. Severe detonation My Pride and joy SHattered all four cylinder walls into rubble.

Thanks i hope to have it going again soon i will get some pics off they are pretty nasty i figure the block would make a lovely coffee table though i will now be tuning the car on crome instead of uberdata so i will be able to control my boost better because i dont think i had that option in uber. Also Clamp every vacuum line on the damn thing>

uber does have a boost cut feature. Do you have stock map sensor still or aftermarket? Its not so good if you are running close to the max of the stock sensor, but if you have a map sensor that reads higher then its fine. It will basically give you a lower rev limit if you hit too much boost. Not quite as good as cromes because crome will cut fuel right when it sees too much boost, but still better than nothing.

Push on nylon high heat hose and fittings... NEVER will come off.

I will vouch for them. PM me if you have any questions.

you could have even just used a hose clamp or a zip tie, that will help do the job.

i feel your pain though, i had boost creep and maxxed my fuel system out. cracked my sleeve and trashed that motor. it sucks

edit::: i see you ran a deltagate....they have a reputation for creeping

28psi on a 7psi waste gate spring is more then Boost creep HAHA, more like max boost for the turbo
