Default Turbo Build Checklist

Ok guys I have been trying to finish my car for a while now. I wanted to run my build by you guys to make sure I have everything before I get ready to tune. I think I am missing some things and if I am could you guys point out what I am missing. Here is my setup

GSR bottom end: 9:1 Supertech Pistons, Eagle LS rods, LS Crank, Bored .20 over. Plugged oil squirters.

B16 Head: Stock. GSR Cams, and ARP Head Studs

Holset H1C Turbo. Precision 1000cc injectors, AEM Fuel rail, LOVEFAB ramhorn manifold. TiAL 50mm blow off valve and TiAL 40mm wastegate.

I will be tuning with Hondata S300. I have PROSPORT Boost and oil pressure gauges. I am going to be purchasing an Innovate wideband tomorrow.

Is it something that I am missing? I have a MAC Boost control Solenoid and I was wondering if I wanted to turn up the Boost can I do so with that? Or do I need an electronic boost controller? Do I need a turbo timer?

Arp rod/main bolts are ideal when boosting. Also do you have your oil feed and return?

Downpipe dump tube.. These are all covered if you search, there's a post on how to turbocharge your Honda and it says all the parts you need

Yea I have everything together and in the car. I cranked it and it ran with no problems or leaks. Im wondering about the little knick knacks like the turbo timer and boost controller. I have a boost control solenoid and I dont know what purpose it serves

I don't think you'll need a boost controller with the s300 but someone correct me if I'm wrong, I'm no guru

Edit* I meant like a standalone, like the profec. But you have a mac so sounds like your good

That "newb" has no clue what he is talking about. Your ECU must have the components installed to control the MAC valve. If this wasn't done when the S300 was installed you can't use this feature. The program supports it, but you still need the hardware. A turbo timer is pointless unless you absolutely don't want to drive easy before or let it sit a minute or two after you park the vehicle. Most quality alarms have this feature built in if it has a remote start. Also, a boost controller is only used to get more boost past what the waste gate spring is rated for. When done in this fashion it can help spool times and features like "boost by gear" can be utilized.
