Default Rebuilding a b21?

I just got a 91 Prelude, perfectly maintained, one owner, 132K miles. The engine runs strong and pulls hard as hell(suprisingly harder than my old S13). I noticed some smoke on start up tonight after work for the first time. It seemed to have stopped after a minute or 2 of driving. I have searched and read the b21 is known to burn oil.

I don't care to do a swap, and I'm really not interested in more power right now. I just turned a S13 into a tin can in the mountains going wayyyy too fast.

I just dont want the thing to be smoking like a bitch. Is it really too cost consuming to have moly rings installed? Beyond that, If I were to want more power and go the turbo route, with correct rings, and new pistons and cams to adjust compression, wouldnt the sleeves improve the engines ability to hold boost? People keep blaming the b21 to be a piece of **** when really, with new ring it should have a stronger block to make power with, not to mention more displacement.

if you bought that car looking to find aftermarket parts at all im sorry for your luck. preludes are the bastard children of honda and suffer from lack of overall support from aftermarket companys in general, you car being the worst. try running some seafoam through it .other then that if your not loosing dangerous ammounts of oil i would just let it be, until your ready to get into more major maintenance
