the downfall of the b20 is the sleeves. i know power can be made, but safe and reliable? thats a different story.

i saw a dyno run lsat week, for a b20 stock and gsr head...7xx cc injetors, in line pump, on crome ,t3/t4....around 308hp and 220tq.

nice numbers for a daily, but i dont know how much it will last thou

you can e go and check b20turbo.com...they strongly suggest to sleeve it, and the downfall is that the b20 dont have crank pressure holes...

i was about to do it...but instead will be better to sleeve and bore a GSR or B16 ( less torque, less wheel spinning) but cranks are made for high revs..

I am going on 3 years now with a t3 super 60 b20 vtec, stock internals, stock b16 head. no problems at all. 12psi everyday. making around 275-300 whp. The motor outlasted the turbo .... If you get it tuned RIGHT it will last. As my tuner says "b20's having weak sleeves is a rumor that weak tuners had to come up with to explain all of their blown motors." In fact I am upgrading the turbo and installing forged internal (rods and pistons) and retaining my stock sleeves. By the way this was/is my daily driver and I commute around 40 miles per day, I still have AC!! and I get 37 mpg So what I am trying to say if you do it right it will work.

my friend has been boosting a stock B20b (nonvtec) for 3 1/2 years on 14psi. No problems.

I've ran a b20B and a B20z on boost for several months (almost year) with no problems at 10psi.

If you go w/ a b20 block, dont get power hungry. Just set a goal and keep it there.

here is mine... GSR HEAD...B20 Bottom...T3T4.... !!!STOCK SLEEVES!!!... Scat Pistons... Eagle H Beam rods w/ ARP rod bolts... ems is HONDATA S300...biggest issue is i cant release crank case pressure... need to get PCV valve put in i think...

just dynod' @ Church Auto in Long Beach... made 200 whp @ 8psi on "Stock" Fuel Pump, had to stop the dyno tuneing because the car started to run lean... will be changing out fuel pump and running again... will post dyno pics soon... having issues with car currently, i think i killed my current fuel pump... if you have any questions...fire away... i have been on this project for about a year.

im running DSM Blue top 450 cc's would have went bigger but the motor isnt sleeved so no use, waste of money

PRIMETIME...dont believe ur tuner... yea you can do it im sure... but the beating you take is not worth the power you may gain... those walls are PROVEN thin... trust me... my tuner KNOWS whAt he is doing and has a very good clue what he is talking about... to make 3 spreads in TIME magazine in the past 2 years, and COUNTLESS Import Tuner & Tune Mag prefered tuner choices... im sure he may have a clue what a reliable motor is.

not saying you are COMPLETELY WRONG...you can push 20 psi at some stock sleeves ALL DAY LONG... but for how long is the question!
you really need to take these things into consideration...so u guys are telling me that with "PERFECT TUNING" and a nice set of forged internals you can run 18-20psi (or more), AGGRESSIVE/NON-AGGRESSIVE DAILY DRIVING on "stock B20 Sleeves" and not have a thing to worry about...WRONG...-PERFECT TUNING- will not increase the strength of your sleeves... dont equal out...

but hey.. im just a boostnub...wudda i know
