To be honest, you dont really see many B20s used in the high HP builds. I don't know why that is, but to each his own i guess. You can send a block Golden Eagle, Darton, or Benson for sleeving. Check the Marketplace because they all advertise there...

Re: (Schister66)
Use a B18 instead of a B20 for sleeving. The B20 is not a good candidate for sleeving. The original iron liners are cast as one piece rather than four individual liners as on other B series blocks. The iron doesn't machine out completely leaving a less than desirable surface with which to seal the new liner. In other words they are prone to leak coolant into the oil.

The other thing to look at is future resale. Sounds dumb, but since a B20 is a light truck engine, fewer people will want to buy it if you ever sell it.
The blocks themselves are basicly the same between sleeved B18B's and B20's when it comes to raw dimensions. You can run 85mm just as easily on a sleeved B18 as you can a B20.
I would suggest using at least a B18 block. There isn't a good reason to stick to 1.6L unless you have to, since you can technically run 10% more power on a 1.8 over a 1.6, while response/spool is better.

man i need to learn more about this stuff, im a super noob.....let me start by saying this better, i want a fully built motor for turbo, i suppose as i do hear alot b20's are no good, is a b18 bore to 2.0 the same thing? i have a b16, what if i bore to 1.8, can i still put low compression pistons, rods...etc...and turbo it? the same with a bore b18 to 2.0, would i have to sleeve any of them, whats the purpose of sleeving (making pistons walls thicker right?)

ultra simple stupid proof plan(almost stupid proof, not wallet freindly though)
find a cheap *** old/smoking/torn apart/cracked sleev(just no spun bearing cranks) b18a,b18b,or b18c block and your current b16 head, send the head to portflow for full port and polish and valvetrain/assembly, send the cheap *** block(should cost you 150$ or less) to laskey racing to get bensen sleeves, pauter rods, cp pistons, crank balanced, assembly, the whole shabang.
buy a new timing belt/water pump/oil pump from use name "len" on here(he has mad super 2fast 2furious honda hookup) and skunk2 pro1 cams, edelbrock victor x intake manifold, skunk2 cam gears, skunk2 70mm throttle body, very nice clutch, quaife lsd(and you current b16 tranny) and a new cometic head gasket for whateevr bore size you get, a full-race turbo kit (ball bearing, twinscroll version if your gangster) aem ems, then throw allllll of that **** into the back of your car, take it to a VERY REPUTABLE speed shop(no not some ricer shop, ask about good local speed shops in your regional classifieds with a dyno and good tuner,
then when you find that right speed shop have your car towed there with all your **** in the back, give them major $$$$$$ to put the head/clutch/tranny on and put it in your car, install the trubo kit and tune it, then the VERY SAME DAY YOU GET IT BACK before parking it ANYWHERE in public, have a clifford gps tracking alarm installed, hidden VERY well by a very reputable person(once again not some ricer or joeblow)
and then you are set

The point of sleeving is two-fold: it allows you to overbore to as far as an 85mm; whereas, stock can only go to an 81.5mm. The other benefit is the added strength of the aftermarket sleeves. Stock sleeves are thin and made of two types of metal. They're good for around 500-550whp depending on the tune/tuner, but at those power levels, sleeving would be nice insurance.
