Speaker Sound Baffle
I'm selling my factory speakers that came with my 99 Si on another board and a guy asked me do I have the speaker sound baffle for the front speakers. Not to sound like a lame but what the hell is that?

Personally, I have no f*ing clue...got me this time.
He may be talking about the mounts for the tweeters? Past that, it should just be the raw drivers.

More than likely he is talking about the factory plastic that is behind the speaker, kinda like a plastic bowl. They are usually used in doors to keep water from getting to the speakers. Some do actually serve a purpose, thus the "speaker sound baffle". Some older Hondas had a plastic box that the speakers were mounted into. Don't really know what else he's talking about.?
Maybe the plastic basket that the speaker sits in is what he is talking about. I e-mailed him earlier to find out what he is talking about, but he hasn't responded. Thanks for helping me out guys.

It IS the plastic basket, it protects the speaker from water, Although on my 99 si they were part of the door, I did saw them off with a rotozip so I could fit better/deeper speakers in there.
