HCP makes a great kit too. They are around ~$300.

You can also make your own axles, it is highlighted in the h22a thread

The fuel pump does not know what size injectors are you running. The fuel pump will fail if it can not supply the volume needed for the motor. Most all motor builds will not kill the fuel pump.

Great write up, man!

Edit: yeah so this is A$$ backwards. i forgot about OBD check. obd2 chassie = only obd2 engine. obd1 chassie = either, except obdo. Then search about smog refs. there is a group that under the right conditions will bar/ref your car.
if anyone has more info please post.

I also did this same swap. I am only 20yrs, never passed high School and wired it all up myself.

I used the hasport mounts and used the rear bracket from an 01 Lude.

I also used a 2001 lude radiator and fan.

Last but not least I am running it via AEM EMS(2 step Rev limiters really make it sound mean.

I was one lucky son of a bitch. Buddy wreck his '01 Prelude and it had only 40 000km on it.

By the way, see when I registered on this site. I never had to make any posts regarding the swap, everything you need to know is archived.

I would have ask for help but the pot is just great in Canada. You should try Canadian Bud. that's my excuse for no diploma.

According to your name you know what I am talking about.

Good price for a great conditioned engine, im a penny pincher so id just wait till i found a screaming deal, i traded my 62" big screen for my A4 w/trans.
Is that the kind you want to get? its obd1 so it takes a small amount of more work. but for that price and miles i would definitely be thinking about it.
