Default NEW BRAKES

I want to change my brake pads myself but dont know how i have an 93 EG hatch
i need to know what tools do i need and a procedure i looked around in this fourm but got no result please help any info will be gratley be appreciate it.

Jack it up, Take the wheels off.

There is a bolt that goes on the bottom of the caliper, loosen it and take it out. The caliper should flip up.

Take old ones out, put new ones in.

Re-assemble.

Its really simple to do. pull wheel, a (1) bolt, rotate caliper out of the way, remove pads and shims, put shims on new pads (put some of the brake lube between the shims and pad to reduce squeal), you may have to open your bleed valve to get the piston back in, rotate caliper back, install bolt and bleed your brakes, be sure to check you reservoir when done. Good luck.

I have a question why is it always a noob who refuses to get a repair manual? I would rather read how to do a task then ask on a forum.

kinda know now but what if you dont have the lock nut wrench what else can i use to push in the piston boot in, the rest i kind of got down packed

I use a C clamp to push the pistons back.

get a c clamp to push piston back in on ur eg brakes makes it easier... its pretty common sense to change them
