How hard is it to change brake pads on a 93 Si Hatch?
Can a person with no knowledge of brakes do it?
I have power tools and regular tools so that is not a problem.

It's really easy. First time I did it, took me ten minutes.
The hardest part is trying to figure out which pad goes on which rotor.
1. Undo top on brake booster resevoir
2. Take off wheel
3. Remove nut at the bottom of the caliper (on the back side)
4. Swing caliper up
5. Remove pads
6. Compress caliper cylinder (that round thing that pushes the pads )
7. Replace pads
8. Replace caliper
9. Replace bolt
10. Replace wheel
Make sure that the brakes work.
That's a real simplified version of what you should do.
It's mostly common sense.

i actually think it is easier than that but those are the steps you need to take to change brake pads on the FRONT...on rear disk you must screw the piston in

when u screw the piston in, do it very slowly, ur moving alot of fluid through tight lines u dont want to pop anything by moving the fluid too fast

IT's very important to lubricate the new pads that you put in as well as the top and lower guide pins
