Default should i bother with the turbo?

first off, the car isn't a Honda but HT is the best place to get any info on a car so im here. I bought a 98' Mazda Millenia for my D-driven car and for some reason i cant seem to keep anything stock. the car has a KL03 (2.5L dohc V6 with a 9.2:1 CR 170hp stock) So i did some research and people are making around 380whp on the stock engine (turbo+tuning). i was thinking 300 would be more then enough to have some fun. I found a turbo, manifold, fuel pump, etc. but im not sure how to do the tuning without spending and arm and a leg on a stand alone. You guys think i should do it? if so, how should i go about the EM?

oh yeah forgot to mention, its the same engine that somes in the Probe GT

I've use the Perfect Power SMT-6. It was an awesome unit. You 'could' do the AFC hack or something of that nature as well. I've seen a lot of guys go megasquirt and such.

Head over to probetalk.com and ask around.
