Default Best turbo for B16A2

Hey, Im just about finished putting together a kit and the last thing I need is the turbo. So my question is what is the best turbo, specs and all......even where to get it for a B16a in a 92 hb SI that has a basically stock engine. I am looking for a daily driver but I will be at the strip alot. Thanks.

This depends on what you want. What kind of hp do you want to make? What will the car be used for mainly? Is the engine built? If not do you plan to build it in the future? What kind of engine management, fuel system, etc, etc...

It's not that easy to say that this or that turbo is the best turbo for a B16, you base the turbo selection on a specific requirement.

Ok...say I have a bosch fuel pump and a 12:1 FMU with stock injectors.I will be useing this as a dailly driver but want the most power I can get out of the stock bottom end. So the internals are going to remain stock till I get the funds to go bigger. I also hava drag gen 3 manifold and a turbonetics deltagate.
I cann't say what kind of HP i would like but the more the better. as I said I will be using this car daily but I mainly want it for the quarter mile. is their anything else that might determine the turbo. Thanks

Dude, there are sooooo many factors that you can go into in finding the perfect turbo, not to mention the calculations for housing size and trim according to displacement, anticipated power output, cfm needs...etc...

If you are not keen on these factors you might want to stick with the same turbo that was attached to that drag manifold you have.

quick run down, cuz no one else has...

td025: low cfm, quick spool, mid range top end power
t3 : mid cfm, quick spool, decent overall power
t3/t4 hybrid: Good cfm, midrange spool, good top end potential
t4: good cfm, slower spool, great top end power potential, can run lower boost and still create power without elevation cylinder press. as much.

If you don't plan to build the bottom end soon, don't bother with anything past a t3, in my opinion, you'll waste $$.
If you keep it stock, a t3 or td025 will give good power and drivability, spool quick all the other advantages of smaller turbos...blah blah blah...

Anyways... remember, even the smallest turbo can blow a stock motor at the right boost press...
