i need to change my teg tranny...

before that i been change

distributor, fuel pump, new tune up, 17" enkei rim, new tire,
oem fender.

i spent so much money on my teg...

but this time i have big problem with teg...

one they when im going over 40mph and release my gas pedel.

it makes noise hell lot noise...so some ppl says tat compressor problem

but pretty much everyone says tranny.

and i went to repair shop they said its tranny problem.

and tranny cost about $500 and labor is $400

what would u do if u having that problem..?

will u just pay that money and change? or just get other car?

too much money for me....

 

have you ever thought about getting a tranny for possibly even cheaper from someone on this site, and installing it yourself?

from what i think i can understand, you should definately just fix the problem, don't sell away ur problems.

you can definately find a tranny for cheaper and learn how to install it urself

 

do the work yourself ... you'll learn alot and save alot of money as well .. i'm sure there's more than enough recources on this site to learn how ... good luck!

i can change auto to manual transmission?

my teg is automatic.

i heard from somebody, automatic to manual ...

i can just get the manual transmission to change that

if you've never even done a tranny swap before, i dont know if i'd try to do the manual conversion, unless you really want it!!!!

The answer is NO you can not just get a Manual Tranny and put it in and expect your car to be manual.
You'll need a Manual ECU or convert your ECU to Manual, you'll need the pedal set, you'll need to line up the Clutch Master cylinder with your clutch pedal and run the line to the clutch slave cylinder, you'll need to get a clutch and flywheel and you'll also need to remove your auto shifter and put in a manual shifter with shift linkage.

you did not spend a lot of money on your integra

if something breaks its no big deal and i dont understand what the fuss is about. if you need a new dizzy then get one. so you needed to get a basic tune up so what. whats wrong with regular mainnence.

so you got a bad tranny that just means its time for another tranny. why would you sell the car and buy another car just because the tranmission needs to be changed. i have gone throught 3 trannyes already and its no big deal.

you soind like one of those ppl that never do normal mainence and when something breaks or you get a flat tire you feel like its the cars fault and its time to get a new car
