Default Tranny Problem!

Ok so i am driving my automatic DA fine...then all of a sudden im at a light and i press the gas and the car just revs as if i was in neutral...so i push it in to a parking lot....turn it off...turn it back on...then it works fine for a mile...then it starts to happen again...is this my tranny going out on me or what?

I dont know much about autos but if it has a filter it might be the problem. Or just get a new tranny, auto trannys are pretty cheap.

same thing happend to my 95 LS. It happend because i got careless and was just shifting for the fun of it. But more than likely you made need to either get your tranny's mesh screen cleaned out or just get another one. Which will run you about the same price. (on average of $2000) its kinda expensive, so what i did was order a used tranny with about 30,000 miles on it off of Ebay for like 200 bucks and had a friend of mine put it in. It saved me a lot of money

Just adding some won't do anything. You need to actually change the tranny fluid. I think you have to flush the system 3-4 times to actually get all the old tranny fluid out so you'll need to buy quite a few bottles of tranny fluid.
