just got finish doing a gsr swap in my 94 ls and i wired up vtec to a chipt p28 ecu and vtec doesnt work. any one have any idea what can be wrong??? oil is good and all the sensors are in.

 

Are you sure vtec isnt engaging? Will it pull to redline? Double check your wiring and make sure that there is continuity bewteen the ecu plug and the vtec plug.

 

yes im sure it isnt engaging it runs good until where vtec is suppose to engage and kinda gets weak around 7k but i can pull all the way to 8. ok but here is where i think might be the problem on the preasure switch there is a plug that has 2 wire coming from it which one would be the preasure switch and which one would be the ground???

 

no one knows what i can do to fix this???

 

check oil..vtec wont engage on low oil.

Vtec hits up at 4400 and I can assure you that if it doesnt engage you wont be going to redline. Unplug the vtec solenoid and see if you still think it doesnt engage.
