hey guys, i've tried searching but couldnt find anything so i thought i'd ask, if i was to put itr cams in my b16, is there any valve adjustments needed, and would there be any valvtrain problems in the long run if i dont up grade to itr valvtrain....
not really, since it is an upgrade, it is not a drastic of an upgrade. IMO, if your planning on putting them in you might as well do a valve adjustment. kill 2 bird with 1 stone.

well the thing is i heard that if i dont do the valve adjustments at certain rpms you hear a slight knock....but i dont know if its true, and i just wanted to know if the valve adjustment is very neccessary if i plan on reving to 8 grand only....
regardless if you have the cams or not, when a adjustment is needed they will tap. that's how all hondas are and should be part of your routine maintence. but you can stll take it to 8000.
