Default itr cams into a b16

hey guys, i've tried searching but couldnt find anything so i thought i'd ask, if i was to put itr cams in my b16, is there any valve adjustments needed, and would there be any valvtrain problems in the long run if i dont up grade to itr valvtrain....

not really, since it is an upgrade, it is not a drastic of an upgrade. IMO, if your planning on putting them in you might as well do a valve adjustment. kill 2 bird with 1 stone.

just throw them in and keep it under 8k and you should be good

well the thing is i heard that if i dont do the valve adjustments at certain rpms you hear a slight knock....but i dont know if its true, and i just wanted to know if the valve adjustment is very neccessary if i plan on reving to 8 grand only....

regardless if you have the cams or not, when a adjustment is needed they will tap. that's how all hondas are and should be part of your routine maintence. but you can stll take it to 8000.

my god, your acting as if valve adjusting is a hard and grossly long process, its pretty easy to do, theres even a few write ups on it.

i know tha IT-R's titanium springs & retainers are recommended, but are they absolutely required? will i be able to run tha IT-R cams safely w/o them?
