Default ACT failure??

I'm building a sleeved, 85mm Ls-Vtec that should be pushing 240s to the wheel. Based on recommendations from local shops, I've decided to go with a six-puck. I already have an ACT six-puck disc but Ive heard alot of bad experiences using them (splines break, strip). Can anyone else add to this experience? Should I fork out the money for another brand or just take my chance?

Also... what pressure plate should I go with? Any feedback would help.

The car will be daily driven. I've used agressive clutch set-ups in the past and never seemed to mind the extra pedal effort. But what pressure plate should I use? And, should I use the ACT, or buy a different manufacture?
