Im just wondering how the people bought thermal exhausts like them....


How was the make quality sound quality and loundess? Is there crazy droning on the highway? would it past the decibel test?

reason for asking is my fart can will no longer pass here with z police looking for a new alternative.

any suggestions would be appreciated

 

I love my Thermal 3". Quality is top notch, and the sound is deep and throaty, not too loud at all. Definently should pass the decibel test.

I'm running a 3" downpipe, no cat, and the Thermal, and have no complaints besides the smell.

With the windows up it does drone a bit...but with the slightest bit of throttle while cruising you can barely hear it.

 

I recorded 130 db just reving the motor to 3K about 1 foot away from the tail pipe...3" thermal, no cat, 3" dp.

I don't know what the spec. is but I dont' think it would pass a db test.

It's not 'loud' per se' but the frequency is weird, it rattles the windows in my house when I start it up in my garage about 30 feet away.

 

i had one on my prelude when it was NA and i liked it very much. spuerb build quality.

 

130db? wow thats loud....

the passing is 93db i think.... i would get faccked for sure..

anyone else have this exhaust?

 

i love my thermal.. its not as loud or sound crappy like most exhausts
