Default D15B7 Compession Numbers

What is "good" number for compression on a D15b7

:story:
Well, I bought a compression checker
and I got between 145-150 on each cylinder. Motor has 104xxx on it and has been sitting for ~8 months
This is with the motor being allowed to run till the fan cycles
and with the throttle being held wide open.
This is also tested the first time the motor had been started in a while.

To me these numbers seem a touch low.
Any reasons/ideas/thing I could do to help?
Thanks.

What compression tester do you have? If there all consistant i think youll be fine since the motor hasnt moved in 8 months. Try to get it to idle for a min. and then do another test should be 180.

If all the numbers are within the 140-150 range, you're fine. They're all pretty close, and that's the important part.

You can try putting a drop of oil in each of the cylinders to see if the numbers increase.

I bought one at Napa for 40 bucks.

Removed all plugs
removed ECU fuse
hooked up tester
Held WOT
and cranked each only 5 times (not sure on this last part being perfect)

No
You put in the tester with all the plugs out and ecu fuse out

You carnk the motor ~5 times
