my compression #'s.....

Default my compression #'s.....

on a LS motor.

#1=165
#2=150
#3=150
#4=140

would it be safe to boost on this compression? what could cause this?

go drive ur car around for a bit and then pull the plugs and do it again... u should higher #'s IMO. somewhere around the 180's........... i did mine last week and hit 200-205 on all 4....

if it's warm, wouldn't the only difference be that the numbers are higher but still out of wack?

all motors are different. no motor is totally alike.....so yea, maybe.......maybe not

Try adding a little bit of oil, if your compression number raise drastically your rings are in bad shape.
