SOHC goal :400+: Which turbo?
I don't think that will get you 400+.
How much MAX power are you talking about cause 400+ isn't good enough. 430? 450? more?
You will basically have to get a .63 exhaust A/R. The 50 trim will then get you 400 without blowing pure heat. the 57 is a better choice IMO

The 50 trim .48 a/r will get you 400whp without blowing pure heat. I know of two people who have done it now. It won't get you much more than that though.

agreed! But i would recomend going with the .63 housing. One of the variants of the GT30 would be my choice for 400whp.

Those are a little overkill for 400whp.

On a D series though? They need a lot more boost unles they have a great head! I still don't agree. Yeah you may get 400whp, but it's going to be a hot intake charge not to mention reduced turbo life. I'm still sticking to something like the .63 AR and a little bigger trim now that he mentions 450whp. My .02 cents though...don't always have to agree

ive always heard the 54trim wasnt as effecient as the 50 or 57 trim. i would agree with some of the others recomending a .63ar exhaust for 400+, either of the 50 or 57 could probably do it.

Both people I was referring to are D Series actually. Platinum00 and Howard at ARFab both made 400+whp with an SC50 .48 a/r.
I doubt you'd get 450whp out of it though so I also agree that a bigger trim and a .63 a/r would be better for AbitAvenger.
