Default Problems with inlet piping on B16A2 Drag3 (Solved)

I was wondering if any of you have had experience with the S-shaped intake piping on a drag gen 3 kit for a 99-00 civic si. I've been running the kit without the pipe installed for about a month with a home-made filter because it's basically all I could manage.

My problem is that pipe will not clear the hard line coming off the transmission to the nipple at the end ... It's quite in the way. It's not possibly for the pipe to even fit between the inlet housing and that line. It seems strange that this would be an issue .. It's like the compressor is sitting lower than it should be, but everything is bolted to the manifold properly and everything else seems to line up fine.

From the looks of things, it will not be possible to fit a pipe there without moving that line or the nipple somehow. I haven't seen anyone else talking about this so it makes me wonder if somewhere along the line I used an incorrect part. I don't think that's possibly given how well everything else fits, but it's certainly worth investigating.

Has anyone run into this problem before? Thanks in advance.

Also, something to note is that I trimmed off that tab on the transmission that was in the way previously. This line sits right below that ...

Anyone? :\ Can someone post a picture of their drag manifold / t3/t4 turbo setup on a b16a in the em1 at least?

scroll down a few posts and you will see the pic. it looks like he used a coupler to extend the filter out a bit.

With much cutting and much pain, I was able to fit it in there. Ended up mutilating a couple couplers in the process and busting a clamp. I'll post a picture later so if this ever gets searched on people can see what I did.

Thanks for the help.
