Default HELP! Its leaking...

Under my front right wheel, something is leaking next to my tire and I'm not sure what it is. Is there any kind of fluid that can leak from there?

It might be the packing grease inside the CV boot. If the boot cracks that stuff gets everywhere.

Will it cause any problems? Should I get it fixed or should I just leave it alone?

Get it fixed. As soon as dirt and water get into the joint the joint will start to fail and then you will have to buy a new axle.

sounds like torn boot to me,thick **** on your wheel.its fun to get off.well your cv joint will start clicking soon and you tire will not be balanced any more from the build up of grease.shake or vibrate. through a new axle in it. take it some where to make sure thats what it is.

Not if you do it yourself. The boot kit costs around 12 bucks. I bought some extra grease when I did mine so I paid about 20 bucks total.

i say just **** it. depending on the type of driving condtions in ur area that axles could last anywhere from 3 months to a year or more. i say just **** it and ride it till it break and then go to autozone and get another for 60 bux. then once you buy ur axles there u get free lifetime replacement. all it costs u from that point is an hour of ur time and 8 bux worth of mtf if its a right side axle. altho u really dont HAVE to drain fluid for an axle change, its a good thing to do while ur down there anyways.
