Default Question about aftermarket chips + boost.

When i had my swap done (which was a huge mistake...) the guys at the autosop told me that my ecu was shiped with a skunk chip... i've been thinking lately about turboing my car and i would like to know if i would run into problem in case i install everything. Should have someone re-chip to normal b16 maps and then turbo it and tune it right ? or tubo and tune it straight ?

You should have a basemap installed for your setup while you are putting it on because it's won't even function without it because it won't control the injectors otherwise.

If you are trying to go way old school and use an FMU, then you will still need to put a stock program back on because the skunk two program advances the timing enough to pop a HG in short order.
