I braised (sp) it? I was going to tig it but last second I thought that braising it would be better, I am glad I did.

steel piece of pipe (nipple) about 2" long, drilled the hole high in the pan-side, thoroughly cleaned the out/inside of the pan, positioned the "nipple" and tacked it in with a MIG. Ensured proper alignment/position, then welded it completely around, from the inside, then as much of it around as i could, on the outside..
no leaks..

i drilled the hole just big enough so i could basically screw the brass fitting i got from a hardware store into it. Then I jbwelded it nice and made sure it was dry before putting it back on. Never had a problem with mine. I know I'm cheap.

yah, thats wat i did, but it didn;t hold and i got leaks everywhere. i am thinking of just bolting on one of the flanges that has a -10 AN fitting on it and just using that. but welding the flange is not goin to work because it is aluminum, while the pan is steel. unless i could find a steel flange.
