Default head studs torquing!! ???

So I changed my head gasket and cleaned off surface real good and didnt see any warpage. However it sems like there might be a little bit of coolant seeping into the oil. Did I not tighten my head studs tight enough? I used old studs, so am I supposed to torque em down more than what manual say?? Thanks

first of all, if your talking about honda head BOLTS not studs, then you don't need to replace them, they are not torque to yield, which means u can reuse them... Also depending on what motor you have, its gonna be between 45-55 ft lbs... and make SURE you do it in the proper sequence

Is it okay to torque a D16A6 to 55lbs? Im at 47 right now.

the stock specs for the head bolts is 48 ft lbs, i usually go to 50 tho, just to be sure, especially when ive changed heads so many times, the bolts begine to stretch...Always check your headbolts too after driving like 100 miles too, make sure their still to spec

If there are ARP head studs they torque to 70 foot lbs dont just torque them straight to 70 but work your way up to 70 if they are factory honda head bolts you can torque them to about 65 foot lbs and it should be fine and with the factory ones you dont have to retorque!!!
