Default ARP head studs/Cometic HG combo

I have a regular ls engine with these two items: the ARP head stud kit with a 81MM Bore - MLS .030" Head gasket made by Cometic, and i was wondering what torque specs should i follow. In my Chilton manual it says to torque the head bolts in two steps all the way to 63 ft. lbs. and in the sheet that was included with my head stud kit it says "Following the manufacturers recommended torque sequence tighten the nuts in three equal steps to 80 ft lbs with ARP MOLY ASSEMBLY LUBRICANT" Everyones info, personal experience, and knowledge is welcomed. I was also wondering whether or not more torque would be needed to compensate for the size of the gasket.

use the torque spec that ARP gives. also, the more steps you use the better. i did mine in 20 lb/ft increments til i got to 80.
