i purchased a set of arp head studs and they came with this lube i apply on the nut before tq down. I dont have the lube anymore can i install them with out the lube

You can use motor oil but this changes the torque settings.

 

with motor oil its 85 ft lbs instead of 65 i bealive.. it might just be 80 even .. but id rather use the moly lube . Last time i used motor oil i had to repplace the studs after i changed head gaskets again because it stripped the threads out
