Default distributor and head question

I am trying to figure out which head is on this b18b block i have... I bought it from a friend of a friend and he said it was a b18b... I think the distributor is shot and i got a working one from a 95 ls and it wont fit.. the code on the head is pr4.. on the timing cover its in jap so i guess its a jdm head.. are the b18a 92-93 distribtors different then the b18b's? Thank you

Use the distributor that goes with the OBD of your ecu and ignition system

How do you identify the distributor? Like tdxxx? The only writing i found was on the inside of the cap that said PT2/3 M16680

ACURA INTEGRA 1.8L NON-VTEC

1996 - 2000 OEM # TD-85U (OBD2)

1992-1995 OEM #: TD46U OR TD55U (OBD1)

1990-1991 OEM #: TC07A, TD23U, & TD24U (OBD0)

that should be correct

this might be stupid but did you check to see if you had the key way turned to match the cam? these are keyed to go in one way only.

What do you mean by "doesn't fit"? What part of the distributor isn't fitting?
